How to Shop

Shopping at the Imperial Merchandise Shop is now easier. You can place personal and corporate orders on-line in a secure environment. We use advanced encryption technology. Just follow the directions and you'll be able to select and purchase from among hundreds of products. Beneath each of the items in our collection, you'll see the button "add to cart."

To switch to the US store, simply click here.

Items you see on the US website are only available to ship within the United States. We cannot ship those items outside of the US.

When using the "add to cart" button, the item you've selected will be added to your shopping cart. If you need to choose a size, please select the appropriate size in the combo box before you add the item to your cart. When you've finished shopping please click on "view shopping cart," where you can review your totals, then select the "checkout" button.

Add to Cart

You will see this link | View Cart | in the upper right hand corner of your screen while you shop. You may click on the cart at any time to view, modify or delete items from your shopping cart.

Product Search

The Imperial Merchandise Shop has two ways to make searching for products easier:
1. If you are looking for a specific product, the top navigation bar has a quick search space where you may enter the product name or item number. For example, type in "cap" and you will be directed to a search results page which will picture all the caps available on the Web site.

  • By item number: Use this option when you know the catalog item number of the item for which you are searching. Enter the item number and click Find.
  • By item name: Enter a name or names of items you wish to find. For instance, jacket or black mug. You will have the best results if you enter the item name as a single item (cap instead of caps). This search is helpful when you are looking for a specific item.
  • By filtering: If are looking for a range of products within a category, you can filter the category page by such items as color, size, and specific type or sub-category.
  • By price range: The filter also includes price ranges. Your search results will only display items which are less than or equal to the maximum price you selected.

Inventory Availability

When placing your order on-line, you will see one of the following icons next to each product with its availability status. Please see below for descriptions of these icons.

In Stock

The item you are requesting is currently in stock, and available to ship.

Pre-Order

The item you are requesting is pre-sale and will begin shipping as soon as it arrives in stock

Back Order

The item you are requesting is on re-order, and will be available shortly. When you see this icon while shopping, simply click to be redirected to the personal shopper product assistance form. If you would like to know a specific ETA on items on re-order, please call 1.866.810.7995 and speak with a customer service representative. A postcard will be forwarded for ETA verification and order options as well.

Back Ordered Items

Any items that you order which exceed the available quantity will remain on order in a back ordered status. Please note that the back ordered portion of your order will ship to you in one shipment once they are all in stock. Shipping and handling charges are estimated on order total. A minimum of $7.95 per shipment applies. If you have any questions regarding your back ordered items, please call 1.866.810.7995 to speak with a customer service representative.

Factory-Direct Orders

When placing your order, the product will be marked as “Made to Order”. You will then be provided with the production and shipping time, minimum order quantity and options for placing a Factory-Direct Order. 

Please note that all Made to Order products will be shipped to you separately via standard ground shipping only and are non-refundable once submitted unless a manufacturer’s defect has been identified upon receipt. At checkout you will receive a separate order number for each Made to Order item ordered. For questions about Factory-Direct Orders, please contact customer service at 1.866.810.7995 Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST.

When ordering online, you may use American Express, VISA or MasterCard.

International Orders

This site is set for Domestic orders only, however we can offer internation shipment upon request. Please contact customer service ([email protected]) who will be able to assist with a freight quote.

Sales Tax

All orders will have the applicable Canadian provincial or territorial tax applied upon check out.

Same Day Shipping Options

Upon checkout, you will have the option to ship via next day, 2-day, or 3-day air. If you would like same day processing, your order must be placed by 1:00 p.m. PST.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, return the merchandise within 60 days of receipt for exchange or refund. Refer to the Returns & Exchanges form (included with your shipment) or call 1-800-277-7477 for details.

For all made to order items, returns will only be accepted for product defects. Items must be returned within 15 days of receiving your order.
